Review: I love weekend brunch. It's uncertain which came first - my dear swoon for the weekend, or my obsession with long midmorning meals over piping coffee and delicious spreads - but no matter how you take it, I'm always on the lookout for a good brunch spot. Impressively rated on yelp, and right next to Bread & Porridge and Snug Harbor on the 23rd block of Wilshire, this petite cafe holds its own against the local bigwigs.

BDC is known for the crepes, french toast, lox, and benedict. Also, something I've never seen anywhere else - the zucchini fritters, which are basically like potato pancakes but with shreds of zucchini instead of potato. Delish. Per the usual, there is the typical fare of coffee, tea, and espresso. On order you'll find sandwiches and salad, so whatever your breakfast-lunch craving is, it will, undoubtedly, be met.
